After a string of disheartening auditions, an actress with Down Syndrome receives some much-needed encouragement from an unexpected source.

Director's Note

An uplifting film with mostly short scenes and just a few camera angles, HEADSHOT is a great editing project for beginners.

Because editors will need to cut scenes featuring a deaf character, they must rely heavily on emotional reaction shots to get the story across. Music is provided. Starring Lauren Potter from the hit television series Glee, HEADSHOT received the Bronze Prize at the Pasadena Community Foundation’s Big Heart, Small Film shorts competition.
